Any form in Lightship can be exported and saved, so that it can be used to create a new form in the same Lightship site, or any other Lightship site. This export will include pick list entries, field names, and the order of fields.

Exporting Form Configs

1. Click the "Form" icon on the left-side menu.
   
2. In the form menu, click the "pencil" icon on the right hand side, on the form that you want to export the form configs.
   
3. In the "FORM SETTINGS" tab, click "EXPORT FORM CONFIG".
   
   
4. A pop-up window will inform you: "The configuration for this form is being generated. You should see a download start shortly."
   
5. Go to your downloads folder on your computer. A .json file will be there labelled: Is-form_config(TITLE OF FORM).json.

Importing Form Configs

1. Click the "Form" icon on the left-side menu.
   
2. If you've already created the form that you want to import the form configs, click on the edit "pencil" icon on the top-right of the form. If you still need to create the form, click "NEW".
   
   
3. After creating a NEW form, you will be directed to the form field settings. 
   
4. Left of "New Question", click "Import Form Config".
   
   
5. Find the .json file that you downloading by exporting the form configs and click "Open".
   
6. The pop-up window will inform you: "Import Successful: The configuration for this form was successfully imported. You may now use or modify the form as required".
